The awards, the winners of which will be announced at Airspace World 2024, encourage pioneering concepts and acknowledge significant achievements by leaders, initiatives, and organisations in the air traffic management industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/airspaceworld.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/01\/ATM-Awards-2023-MPU_extension.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7125\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The categories for this year\u2019s awards are focused on topics which are integral to ATM \u2013 Digital Transformation in ATM, Reimagining ATM Operations, Greener Skies, Resilience in ATM, and the Integration of drones\/AAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agnes Krischik, Airspace World Show Director, said: \u201cThe extension came in response to many requests from those completing their entries and following the extended holiday break. We have received a number of impressive entries so far and I know there are more to come. But anyone who was thinking of entering now has more time to complete their entry, so don\u2019t miss your chance to be recognised for your achievements in 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Judges announced<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just before the holiday season started, the judges who will determine the winners of the ATM Awards were announced. They are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nozipho Mdawe, CEO ATNS (Air Traffic Navigation Services)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Claudia Bacco, Editor, ATM Magazine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simon Hocquard, Director General, CANSO<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paul Bosman,&nbsp;Head of ATM Infrastructure, EUROCONTROL&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Koen De Vos, Secretary General, GUTMA (Global UTM Association)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anne Stephan,&nbsp;Vice President Critical Infrastructure &amp; Networks, Rohde &amp; Schwarz&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Klaus Meier,&nbsp;Chief Technology Officer, Skyguide&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connor Mullan, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Think Research&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Philip Butterworth-Hayes, Editorial Director and Publisher, Unmanned Airspace&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Agnes added: \u201cWe\u2019re grateful for the support of our judges. They bring the widest possible breadth of knowledge and experience of our industry, and will doubtless make the best, but hardest choices when picking the winners.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entries can be completed now on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.airtrafficmanagement.net\/enter-atm-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">competition\u2019s submission page<\/a>.
